ARTIFICIAL BUTTERFLY

I learned that even simple materials could also make pleasant decorations. Just like my artificial butterflies, they were made of used stockings and wires#21. I learned the steps on how to make it which I believe a very difficult one. The significance of the artificial butterflies is to make it as decorations, display on a collection divider, and also sell it for a business.

THINGS THAT I LEARNED FROM THIS SCHOOL YEAR

In Practical Arts, one of my subjects, I learned lots of things which are very helpful, useful, and memorable. For my 1st Quarter lessons I’ve learned about the History of Internet and Hypertext Mark-up Language (HTML). For the 2nd Quarter lessons, it’s about Programming including the Flowcharts. In 3rd Quarter lessons, it is all about the syntax for Looping. Lastly for the 4th Quarter lessons I learned about Blogging and Handicrafting.

ARTIFICIAL ORCHID

In making my artificial orchid, I found difficult in pasting the wire to a wire itself. I learn how to be creative in doing my artificial flower and learned how to make curve each part of it.
My artificial flower is simple yet so nice and beautiful and it can stand well in its container full with stones as a pot. Below is my artificial orchid’s photo.

MY FAVORITE MOVIE

My favorite movie is “SYDNEY WHITE”. I chose it because it is a nice and inspiring movie; it is about the simple and humble girl in freshman high school who tried to be fit with the Kappa Pledge Fraternity all sexy and beautiful girl members, because once a student belongs to their group they will she will be respected and be valued by the other student in that school. Then, the time comes when Rachel (leader of the Kappa Pledge) dislikes Sydney White that’s why she made foolishness and bad plans with her because of jealousy (Prince Tyler is in love with Sydney and they are getting closer each day). Noting that Rachel likes Tyler, but at the end of the story all the students in the campus deal with Sydney White and not with the evil Rachel, Sydney became the new president of the school because of her good attitude and behavior, and also almost perfect personality. In this movie, the most part that struck me most was when her turn to give her speech in front of her fellow students stating that she is just an ordinary person and also a dark just like her schoolmates, because she was so humble in delivering unlike other when they run for a position they say their speech with one’s pride. I can relate mostly Sydney White to myself because I’m just like her, I also know that only God is in the highest level and I’m not perfect. I don’t hate people who are weird, ignorant, ugly, and dork for I know we were all equally loved by God. The morals I learned from the movie “SYDNEY WHITE” were: People must know their limitations, treat other people as how God treats us and lastly stand for what is right and just.

FAMILY DAY

The Ateneo de Zamboanga University High School celebrated the Family Day on February 24, 2008 from 2:00 P.M. down to 9:30 P.M. on the day of the beautiful Sunday with its theme “FAMILIES CELEBRATE A TRADITION OF COMPANIONSHIP”. From 1:00pm to 2:00 pm was the assembly time in La Purisima St. (main campus); 2:00pm to 2:30pm-Motorcade; 3:00pm to 4:00pm-1st registration all year level in assigned areas; 4:00pm to 5:00pm-the mass was held in ADZU Hs lobby including the Blessing of Images and Sort Inauguration of Covered Walk; 5:00pm to 8:30pm-the program started and having lots of games and presentations (e.g. singing, dancing & live band by the students of ADZU HS); 7:00 pm was the time for the dinner for everyone, ADZU had its many booths of selling foods and drinks; 8:30pm to 9:30 pm-awarding of prizes and surprises (2 minutes fireworks display). The Family Day celebration was very enjoying which is being celebrated once a year in our school. For the school year 2007-2008, the Family Day ends with a successful, memorable and happy celebration.

MY PICTURE FRAME-Making

I really enjoy because it is so fun to make my real picture frame, even though there’s lots of thing before and after doing it, at last I made the project nicely. If I am to compare my picture frame from the other frames that are displayed in the department stores, it is more on originality because I made it personally and even though it’s simple but it can last for a long time.
